Cleaning Supervisor

BAM UK & Ireland are recruiting for the FM segmant a Cleaning Supervisor to be based at Bracknell Forest Centre for Health, Bracknell

Working 5pm – 9pm Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)

Hourly rate:      £13.98 per hour

 

Making Possible

  • Supervising a team of cleaners with daily interaction and communication.
  • Carrying out cleaning duties as part of the evening cleaning team.
  • Responsible for cleaning consumables stock for both BAM and client supplies and recording on spreadsheet.
  • Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with key performance indicators.
  • Working to NHS cleaning standards – FR2 and FR4.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with health, safety and compliance guidelines, rules and procedures.
  • Co-ordinate staff annual leave ensuring covering of tasks is achieved through team and in accordance with BAM policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for contents of COSHH cabinet and the control of the products and use.
  • Complete BAM consumables order form and advise Facilities Manager of the requirements.
  • Place consumables order once approved by Facilities Manager.
  • Responsible for the submission of cleaning team timesheets and absence reporting.
  • Co-ordinating tasks daily to the cleaning team.
  • Carry out cleaning audits with the Facilities Manager monthly.
  • Train the team on using approved equipment and follow BICS standards.
  • Carry out monthly toolbox talks in line with the company requirements.
  • Ensure all cleaning team members are compliant with their responsibilities as set out in the BAM FM Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure any concerns identified are reported to the Facilities Manager.

You will be working as part of the cleaning team in a medical environment.

The team consists of day and evening cleaning operatives.

What do you bring to the role?

  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning environment.
  • Knowledge of COSHH.
  • Knowledge of BICS training.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety
  • Experience working in a medical environment.
  • Experience of working to high cleaning standards.
  • Able to maintain high cleaning standards.
  • Able to carry out ad hoc cleaning tasks when required.
