We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to strengthen our team that is excited about new technology in the Microsoft domain. The Microsoft (MS) Support Team is part of the MS Business Applications Team and we have room for an ambitious employee to work with us on BAM's digital future. In this role, you will work with a diverse team and possess good knowledge of MS technology. Your communication skills make you the bridge between technology and user-friendliness. Quickly adapting in a dynamic environment is no problem for you and you proactively contribute to optimizing the IT environment. 

Your tasks

• Managing and supporting MS applications and MS-related maintenance;
• Managing user accounts, rights, and access controls in a secure environment;
• Implementing and enforcing stringent security measures to ensure IT safety;
• Assisting users with their questions and providing training and instructions;
• Documenting IT processes, guidelines, and procedures to ensure clarity;
• Actively contributing to automating processes within the support team;
• Deliver functional and technical remote support to customers;
• Identify, recommend, and implement system configuration recommendations and performs remote system set-ups and configurations;
• Resolve customer’s application questions or problems in the areas of system configuration/setup, and product functionality; this includes referral and interfacing to appropriate Microsoft and other IT departments for follow-up, testing, and troubleshooting;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge for all core Microsoft products.

We would like to discuss your interests and ambitions within IT. The team at BAM is responsible for everything related to Microsoft 365. Think of components like Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps and Telephony. We provide these services to all our colleagues in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. The team consists of experienced colleagues who are eager to teach you something but also want to learn from you. A fresh perspective is highly appreciated.

Additionally, we ask for:

• Preferably a completed bachelor’s degree in IT or business administration with an affinity for IT;
• Several years of experience with Microsoft 365 admin portals, the Microsoft 365 platform and Azure;
• Affinity and interest in technology, IT, programming, or wanting to build something yourself;
• Very good communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch;
• Solution-oriented, ambitious and flexible.
