Tender Assurance Manager

As tender assurance manager, you will be responsible for assessing the major A-tenders of the Royal BAM Group at the corporate level. Are you an experienced project director or business manager ready for the next step? Then respond to this challenging vacancy.

What are you going to do

As tender assurance manager, you will evaluate the decision-making process for large A-tenders at BAM. With your in-depth understanding of tender requirements and business issues, you will assess all financial, contractual, and technical risks, advising on the responsible continuation of the tender process. When needed, you will visit tender teams on-site for peer reviews or tender assessments.
 

  • Coordinate the tender assurance strategy under the guidance of the tender assurance director;
  • Develop and implement the tender review strategy with the team;
  • Monitor and maintain the quality and adherence to tender policies and procedures for effective outcomes;
  • Advise BAM Group and division management on tender quality and recommend improvements;
  • Identify structural issues and risks, providing input for mitigation plans;
  • Coordinate day-to-day tasks of the Tender Assurance Committee.

Your working environment

Working closely with the Tender Assurance Director, you provide crucial input for our Stage Gate process. As part of a 4-person Tender Assurance team, you help implement our work-winning policy across BAM and all tenders. This position is based in Bunnik, The Netherlands. At BAM, we offer a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both from home and at the office. Occasional travel to the United Kingdom is also required.

  • A salary between € 7.940,- and € 9.930  ,- gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience. This is based on a 40-hour working week and excludes 8% holiday pay;

  • You have a completed university/master's degree;
  • You have at least 6 years of relevant experience in the field of tendering processes and business, project, or tender management;
  • You have experience within large, complex organizations, preferably within construction, engineering, oil and gas services, maritime, dredging, or related industries;
  • You have experience with the development and implementation of tender processes and related business controls based on enterprise risk management;
  • You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
