BAM is recruiting for an Electrician to join our Plant team in Kill, Co. Kildare.

Your mission

 

  • Carry out electrical installation work from maintenance, battery systems, EV chargers, generators, Tower cranes to second fixing and snagging.
  • Responsible for completing own works, while also collaborating with a wider electrical team.
  • Ensure all works are carried out to the highest standard, while adhering to health and safety requirements.

Who are we looking for?

 

  • FETAC Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in Domestic / Commercial / Industrial projects is desirable.
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling.
  • Qualified QC Tester would be an advantage.
  • Working at heights and abrasive wheel training would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of current electrical standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Successful experience as an Electrician working with multiple electrical environments and with a minimum of 1 years in this or a similar type role.
  • Be able to work as a part of a team in a fast-paced work environment and willing to help and assist those around you.
  • Self-motivated with high quality standards.
  • A good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work outside of working hours and away from home when required.
