We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Application Support Analyst to join BAM UK & Ireland's Application Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about technology, problem-solving and business applications to begin a career in IT within a supportive and collaborative environment. 

Making Possible

As a Graduate Application Support Analyst, you will work alongside experienced colleagues to provide support for BAM's business-critical applications and digital platforms. Through structured on-the-job training and mentoring, you will learn how to investigate incidents, resolve user issues, support system enhancements and contribute to the continuous improvement of our application landscape.

You will gain exposure to a broad range of technologies, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, application integrations, databases and cloud-based business systems. The role offers opportunities to develop technical, analytical and customer service skills while working closely with business users, technical specialists and external suppliers. 

The successful candidate will support the design, development and maintenance of integrations between BAM's business systems and digital platforms. This includes working with APIs, automation tools, data exchange processes and low-code technologies to connect applications and improve information flow across the organisation.

What do you bring to the role?

We are looking for a recent graduate (graduated in the last 2 years) who has a degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems or a related discipline. 

Essential Sills and Attributes:

• Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem solving. 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. 
• A customer-focused mindset and a genuine desire to help others. 
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 
• Curious, proactive and willing to learn new technologies and business processes. 
• Understanding of fundamental IT concepts such as databases, applications, networking and cloud technologies.
• Assist in the development and support of integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, Power Platform and other integration technologies.
• Support automation and data exchange processes between business systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to application integrations and workflow automation.

Technical Knowledge: Academic or Personal Experience:

Experience through university projects, internships, placements or personal learning in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial: 

• Microsoft 365 technologies, including SharePoint and Teams. 
• Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate or Power BI. 
• SQL and database concepts. 
• Software testing and quality assurance. 

• Basic programming or scripting languages. 
• API and system integration concepts. 
• Data analysis and reporting. 
• Agile, Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
