Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreperson to join our project delivery team and take responsibility for driving projects through the final stages of construction to successful completion and client handover.
About the role
The Finishing Foreperson will be responsible for managing all finishing works from grey box stage through to practical completion. The successful candidate will coordinate subcontractors, drive quality standards, manage snagging activities, and ensure all works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest standard.

Making Possible
- Manage day-to-day finishing activities on site.
- Coordinate and supervise finishing trades and subcontractors.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
- Monitor progress against programme and proactively identify potential delays.
- Drive completion of internal and external finishes in accordance with agreed milestones.
- Manage and close out snagging and defects in a timely manner.
- Coordinate inspections with clients, design teams and statutory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals to ensure works are delivered correctly.
- Assist in planning and managing commissioning, testing and handover activities.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, quality inspections and workforce attendance.
- Liaise closely with Site Management, Project Management and Commercial teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Support the preparation and delivery of O&M manuals, as-built information and completion documentation.
What do you bring to the role?
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman, General Foreman or Site Foreman on commercial, healthcare, education, residential or public sector projects.
- Proven track record in delivering projects from grey box stage through to practical completion.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and finishing trades.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage competing priorities.
- Relevant trade background desirable.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
- Full clean driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
- Trade Qualification.
- Construction related qualification.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience working with digital QA and snagging systems.
