We are hiring a Finance Analyst to join our finance team in Kill, Co.Kildare.

Making Possible

Provide support and maintain integrity on all ledgers but specifically GL across the UK&I Division. Partner with all staff but primarily commercial and finance to build capability.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Reconciliation of all control accounts, journals, and tasks aligned to the integrity of month end close.
  • Oversee processes for the timely submission of direct tax submissions, (VAT, RCT, PAYE) and Lease accounting administration.
  • GL balance sheet reconciliations preparation, overview, and communication to the business.
  • Journal processing ensuring requests have appropriate approval and have suitable back up.
  • Lease administration and accounting.
  • Management of the intercompany process.
  • VAT return preparation and overall coordination.
  • Reconciliation of the Payroll Control accounts
    Project and contract administration.
  • Audit queries.

What do you bring to the role?

  • Qualified accountant.
  • GL experience withing the construction industry (desirable).
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems, DRC, RCT and VAT and intermediate level Excel skills.
  • Experience working in a finance accounting role.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and accurate checking of all ledger entries.
  • Ability to communicate whilst dealing with stakeholders of all levels. Target driven and used to managing to strict SLA’s.
  • Pro-active approach to problems – the ability to spot potential errors and resolve.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders in a professional manner at all levels.
  • Enthusiastic team player who takes pride in their work.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and drive this behaviour in others.
  • Ability to make decisions and escalate where required. 
  • First class written and oral communication skills.
  • Concise understanding of the BAM values.
