About the role
We are looking for an experienced Proposals Manager to play a leading role in securing future work across our Building, Civil Engineering and Infrastructure business.
Based in our Kill, Kildare Head Office, you will be working as part of the preconstruction team, you will be actively involved with how we present our capabilities to clients, develop winning strategies, and lead the production of high-quality submissions that showcase our experience, capability and competitive strengths.

Making Possible
- Manage the full proposal lifecycle from opportunity qualification through to submission.
- Develop submission strategies, win themes and client-focused messaging.
- Ensure all submissions are compliant, compelling and aligned with client priorities.
- Write, edit and enhance persuasive proposal content.
- Translate complex technical information into clear client-focused responses.
- Produce executive summaries, methodology statements, presentations and supporting materials.
- Ensure consistent messaging, quality and branding across all submissions.
- Coordinate input from design, estimating, planning, commercial, construction and sustainability teams.
- Facilitate bid kick-off meetings, reviews and submission sign-off processes.
- Build strong relationships with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders.
- Challenge teams to strengthen responses and clearly demonstrate our competitive advantages.
- Maintain proposal libraries, project case studies and bid content.
- Analyse feedback, win/loss trends and lessons learned.
- Support the development of best practice, governance and bid management processes.
- Contribute to improving submission quality, consistency and overall win rates.
What do you bring to the role?
- At least 5 years' experience in proposals, bid management or preconstruction within construction, engineering or infrastructure.
- Proven experience leading successful tender submissions.
- Strong understanding of public and private sector procurement processes.
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills.
- Strong project management and organisational ability.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
