Digital Manager
Building a sustainable tomorrow
KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and BAM. BAM UK & Ireland’s Infrastructure segment are currently delivering the redevelopment of an area within a Royal Navy dockyard located in Plymouth and are seeking a Digital Manager, who will lead the application of information management and digital construction.. The role ensures that digital methods are used not only for coordination and compliance, but as practical tools to improve constructability, sequencing, safety, quality, productivity and right-first-time delivery on site.
Working closely with project, engineering, construction, planning, commercial and commissioning teams, the role will embed digital outputs into day-to-day delivery, including 4D planning, digital rehearsals, workface planning, installation support, field data capture and handover. The postholder may lead people and teams in a first-amongst-others structure and will champion effective, secure and proportionate use of digital technology.
Due to the site being within a high Security Naval base, additional security checks will need to be satisfied for this role, with BPSS level security clearance being a requirement, which can take up to 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and have been a UK resident for the last 5 years can be considered for this role.
