Health & Safety Administrator

BAM Infrastructure are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and we are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Administrator to support the H & S lead with daily administrative tasks.
Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks. Candidates must hold a passport from an EU, NATO, Five Eyes, or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.

In this role, you will be working in a live MOD facility. Your day-to-day will include:
- Support the Health and Safety Lead and team with daily administrative tasks to ensure business procedures and processes are followed
- Collect, manage, and analyse health & safety data from site activities, inspections, and incident reports.
- Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, permits, training, and toolbox talks.
- Support the preparation of H&S performance reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking for management and client review.
- Assist with incident investigations by collating evidence, maintaining logs, and preparing initial documentation.
- Ensure all statutory and company documentation (RAMS, permits, certifications) are properly recorded and updated.
- Monitor compliance with site access, inductions, and training requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety team, including scheduling meetings, updating registers, and document control.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying data trends and highlighting areas of concern.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure H&S data is communicated effectively.
- From time to time, you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.
- To cover some aspects of the H&S Coordinator function as and when required.

- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
