IT Foundation Level 2 Support Team Lead

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting an IT Foundation Team Lead.

This position can be based from any UK & Ireland office location. Some travel will be required within Europe. 

The IT Foundation Team Leads will report directly to the IT Foundation Operations Manager and will manage the effective and efficient delivery of all internally managed IT services and all third-party and associated services to support the goals of BAM’s digital vision within the UKI Division. The IT Foundation Team leads will support the IT Operations Manager by ensuring that all IT Service operations are delivered within established service levels agreements and help drive excellence in all aspects of the IT service operations.  In addition, setting up good communication channels to the local business and within the IT organisation will be essential.  

Making Possible

• Support the IT Foundation Operations Manager in the delivery of key objectives for the UKI Division
• Provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations within your team and/ or area of expertise.
• Be the primary point of escalation and the ‘Face of IT’ within a designated region and/or area of expertise.
• Own and manage all customer escalations through to resolution or conclusion.
• Ensure your team are providing a consistent service across the UK & Ireland division by driving adoption of global end to end processes based on BAM’s ITIL model through the ITSM tooling.
• Manage effective relationships with other Team leads to share best practices and ensure collaborative working within and across teams.
• Assist in the delivery and service transition of IT Foundation Projects related to the UK & Ireland division,
• Develop and  maintain and effective and engaged team ensuring they have the right skills and tools to effectively deliver services in line with our agreed SLA’s and KPI’s..
• Identify areas of improvement for IT Service Delivery and work with the relevant process owners to implement improvements.
• Manage and review all third party services (if applicable) being delivered into your region and /or area of expertise.
• Provide management information and reports as requested.

What do you bring to the role?

• Candidate will have a Third Level qualification in IT or relevant experience.
• Experience in providing and supporting IT services & infrastructure operations in large organisations.
• Strong technical background in supporting end user devices, Microsoft desktop and Office 365 
• Experience in managing and coordinating workloads through ITSM platform.
• ITIL qualification/experience a requirement
• Agile experience is beneficial
• Excellent Communication skills are an essential key requirement as you will be dealing with end users, business stakeholders and 3rd party service providers on an ongoing basis. 
• Great people skills with the ability to lead a team by example, coaching staff to develop in their roles whilst building a culture based on strong customer service values 
• Have excellent analytical, operational planning and execution skills
• Have a positive, hands-on attitude and the ambition to drive the success of IT Foundation UKI.
• Attentive to details and accurate, with excellent organisational skills.
• Proactive and innovative, with the ability to remain pragmatic while ensuring controls are adhered to.
• Embraces positive change in a dynamic environment
