Project Administrator

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive and highly organised Project Administrator to join our team on Greens Substation, a key infrastructure development that will support the ongoing enhancement and resilience of the UK's electricity network. This exciting site-based role offers the opportunity to be part of a major project that will play an important role in enabling the transmission of reliable, sustainable energy for future generations.

 

As a Project Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the project team, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of project activities. In addition, you will coordinate accommodation and travel arrangements for site personnel and provide accommodation support across other projects within the framework as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to the successful delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects.

Your team

  • This is an on-site based role in Aberdeenshire.
  • BAM operates a flexible working policy 

Making Possible

  • Maintain site document filing system including accurate paper and computer-based records
  • Coordinate accommodation and travel bookings for site personnel, ensuring cost-effective, timely and efficient arrangements for the project and providing support to other projects when required.
  • Utilise computer software packages such as SAP, Outlook and Excel 
  • Attend meetings and training sessions 
  • Key Purchase Requisitions for materials
  • Carry out other relevant duties as directed by your line manager
  • Maintain high personal safety and environmental standards in accordance with Company policy. Be aware and contribute in  "Everyone Safe and Well Everyday" vision.

What do you bring to the role?

  • National 5 and/or Highers in English and Mathematics
  • To be diligent and motivated
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn and progress
  • Show interest to increase your knowledge of the construction industry
  • Good communication skills
  • Good IT skills
