Quality and Improvement Coordinator

BAM UK&I are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Quality and Improvement Coordinator to support the Quality and Improvement(Q&I) Leads for the prevention and rectification of error and the effective implementation of quality assurance and handover requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that systems used by the Q&I team are updated and maintained and for providing validated data and information as necessary to support the Q&I Leads and operational business in factual decision making.

- This role can be based anywhere within the UK

Your mission
As a Quality and Improvement Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

Champion a consistent, open and honest approach to the reporting of quality errors

Provide information and analysis of errors and defects to enable emerging trends and areas of focus to be identified

Building and maintaining knowledge on industry development in relation to error avoidance

Promoting and driving error prevention and progressive assurance within the wider quality culture of our ‘Get it Right’ approach

Supporting the administration of and contributing to training in error avoidance, prevention and mitigation

Identifying and quantifying magnitude of positive and negative impacts from error and prevention measures on other areas such as safety and sustainability

Helping to drive efficiencies into how we deliver quality assurance in operations

Ensure work is carried out within the governance and controls that have been established

Validate data before use or upload

Assist with the maintenance and update of the Q&I Systems

Assistance in compiling and communicating reports and information as instructed

Provide support to the wider Business Assurance team and Management Systems teams where interfaces exist

Provide general support for the efficient functioning of Business Assurance, Quality and Systems(BAQS)

Identify potential areas for improvement, efficiency and lean working in tasks adopting a digital approach
Who are we looking for?

Appreciation and understanding of quality management
-
Knowledge and understanding of planning, implementing, monitoring and improvement of quality management
-
Knowledge and understanding of the technical standards and requirements within construction
-
Able to communicate and liaise with people at all levels
-
Proficient in the application and use of digital platforms
-
Ability to trend and analyse data and identify emerging issues and areas for improvement.
