BAM UK&I are seeking an experienced Reporting Analyst to support the Payroll & MyTime Programme by leading the analysis, definition, design, testing and transition of reporting requirements into Business as Usual (BAU) operations.

Working across programme and business stakeholders, the role will ensure operational, statutory, management and exception reporting requirements are identified early, documented clearly and delivered through scalable reporting solutions aligned to future-state processes.

The role will act as the bridge between business teams, system integrators, technical teams and operational support functions to ensure reporting capability is fully established ahead of go-live and supported post implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting Requirements & Analysis

  • Engage with Payroll, Time Management, HR, Finance and operational stakeholders to capture reporting requirements across the end-to-end process landscape.
  • Facilitate workshops to define business reporting needs, critical metrics and decision-making requirements.
  • Analyse current-state reporting and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve reporting processes.
  • Document reporting requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and traceability through delivery.

Report Design & Development

  • Translate business requirements into report specifications and reporting design documentation.
  • Work with technical teams and implementation partners to develop reports, dashboards and extracts.
  • Support design decisions around report frequency, ownership, security and data access.
  • Ensure reporting solutions align with target operating model and support future scalability.

Data & Governance

  • Define report catalogues and establish reporting ownership and governance.
  • Support data validation and reconciliation activities across Payroll and MyTime.
  • Ensure reporting outputs align with payroll controls, audit requirements and compliance obligations.
  • Establish data quality measures and reporting standards.

Testing & Validation

  • Develop and execute reporting test scenarios and validation activities.
  • Coordinate business review and sign-off of reports.
  • Support defect management and resolution through testing cycles.
  • Validate that reporting outputs support operational and statutory requirements.

BAU Readiness & Transition

  • Develop reporting support documentation and operational procedures.
  • Establish BAU ownership and handover plans for reporting activities.
  • Support training and knowledge transfer to business teams.
  • Contribute to hypercare and stabilisation activities post go-live.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience with reporting and analytics.
  • Experience gathering and analysing business reporting requirements.
  • Experience delivering reporting solutions within HR, Payroll, Time or ERP transformation programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of payroll processes, controls and reporting obligations.
  • Experience with reporting tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience supporting testing and operational readiness activities.

Desirable

  • Experience with Employee Central Payroll and Workforce Time solutions.
  • Knowledge of payroll reconciliation and payroll controls.
  • Experience working with implementation partners and managed service models.
  • Understanding of data governance and master data principles.
