BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a talented Senior MEP Planner for their Construction segment, to support a portfolio of high‑profile projects across the London region, contributing throughout both pre‑construction and delivery stages. Bringing proven experience in planning large, complex developments across multiple sectors, you will play a key role within our bid and construction teams - working in a culture defined by Proactive Ownership, Open Collaboration, Scalable Learning, and Predictable Performance.

Making Possible
- Provide senior-level MEP planning expertise across preconstruction and delivery phases, ensuring programme certainty and mitigating delay risks
- Lead the development, coordination and integration of MEP work sequences, ensuring alignment with construction, procurement and design activities
- Oversee programme risk identification, management and mitigation, driving proactive forecasting and assurance
- Enhance buildability, safety, quality and value by identifying opportunities for improvement through programme analysis
- Review, challenge and integrate specialist subcontractor programmes, ensuring compliance with project requirements and strategic objectives
- Prepare detailed tender, design, procurement, manufacture and construction programmes, supporting bid competitiveness and delivery success
- Provide technical leadership to project teams and self-delivery functions, ensuring coordinated and buildable MEP delivery strategies
- Produce regular progress reports, critical path reviews and baseline updates to support project and regional reporting
- Chair programme workshops, ensuring effective communication, accurate record keeping and collaborative problem solving
- Mentor and develop junior planners, supporting long-term capability building across the region
- Maintaining a professional approach with clients and their professional teams, sub‑contractors and suppliers
- Monitor cause and effect relationships throughout the programme
- Report findings, and recommend solutions to recover time
- Draw up plans and present schedules of work through visual aids

What do you bring to the role?
- An experienced MEP planner with strong technical knowledge of building services installation sequences and interfaces across multiple construction sectors with a focus on commercial building
- Proven experience working with Tier 1 main contractors on major projects within the London region
- Strong understanding of modern construction methods, sustainability requirements and digital integration
- Skilled in using Asta Powerproject and Microsoft applications. Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks would be beneficial
- Excellent communicator able to work collaboratively within multi‑discipline teams and engage confidently with clients and the supply chain
- Proven ability to manage complex programmes, forecast risk, and provide assurance at a senior level
- Holds a relevant construction, engineering or design qualification and professional accreditation (e.g., CIOB or equivalent)
- Multi sector & major project experience within central London
- Familiarity with both the two stage and single stage tender process
- Experience with both NEC and JCT forms of contract
