BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting an experienced Programme Manager on a 2-year FTC contract. This position will involve a mixture of working from home and any of our UK&I offices. BAM operates a flexible working policy. 

Making Possible

•    Holds responsibility for the overall programme plans, as well as tracking and consolidating individual workstream plans and status, and the provision of this information to the programme leadership team securing BAM as well as system integrator deliverables. 
•    Support and manage the Governance and PMO operating models, scope control & internal programme portfolio management
•    Defines with the support of SI Program manager reporting standards, manages project and programme progress reporting, risk & issue management, workshop facilitation, and external governance.
•    Manages the internal and external dependencies (with the weekly planner's team) across the programme including the critical path dependency plan. 
•    Accountable for the creation, maintenance and governance of the programme level release plans from Level 1 – Level 3 top-down and bottom-up, ensuring the plans are consolidated, resource loaded, critical path defined and dependencies identified across releases. 
•    Develop strong relationships with team members, vendors and partners including - · Managing resources and ensuring timely delivery of programme, supervising and coordinating activities of the parties involved in the programme, preparing reports and updating Directors and other stakeholders about the programme, resolving issues with management and stakeholders, confirming successful delivery at completion
•    Work closely with the IT workstream (Development Lead and Solution Architect) to ensure successful integration of S4 HANA system in line with critical path activity

Responsibilities:
•    Responsible for overall governance and methodologies for the programme.
•    Manages and maintains the overall release plan and ensures that Release Managers and System Integrators adhere to the agreed planning principles and timelines.
•    Ensures that reporting standards are adhered to as well as the timely production of consolidated programme level reporting.
•    Manages the programme RAID process ensuring that risk & issue maintenance standards
are adhered to, acts as 1st escalation at programme level.
•    Maintains the programme scope and internal programme portfolio management process to ensure release plan integrity maintained.
•    Accountable for running the internal programme checkpoint and stage gate governance processes, highlighting areas of potential risk to the plan achievability, to time, cost and quality.
•    Works closely with the Release Managers and System Integrators to ensure adherence to
•    programme governance and methodology.
•    Works closely with the Group IT to ensure cross-programme dependencies are
tracked and managed.
•    Analysis of the plans for timeliness of activities, utilisation of resources, slippage against baseline and management of internal & external dependencies and for the creation of appropriate reporting to the plan owners recommending corrective action where necessary.
•    Development and operation of planning standards, process, tools and reporting across a large
scale programme plan.
•    Interfacing & reporting externally to the required stakeholders and internally on the Programme on a regular and timely basis.
•    Production of planning-based metrics.
•    Seeks to mitigate and/or escalate programme risks & issues to protect the plan

• Experience with large-scale business transformation programmes enabled by SAP S/4HANA in a multi country operation.
• Expert in developing scalable governance & methodologies building on industry best practices
• Design and implementation of various planning and reporting processes.
• Advanced project planning, controlling and management skills (expert level) including MS project
and SAP planning toolsets
• Support the development of workstream plans and integrate into an overarching Programme
plan.
• Experience of delivering on multi country - multi process Business, IT and SAP & S/4
HANA programme
