Vendor Relationship Coordinator

BAM FM is recruiting a Vendor Relationship Coordinator to join the team based at our offices in Salford. Working 8.00am - 4.15pm or 8.45am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday.
 
The Vendor Relationship Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Contact Centre ensuring all aspects of vendor performance is delivered in accordance with agreed specifications. This position interacts with internal team members as well as owns vendor relationships on behalf of BAM FM, whilst ensuring that the CAFM system is kept up to date.

 

Your mission

The Vendor Relationship Coordinator will contribute to the development, efficiency and success of our vendor relations processes and support the Operations and Procurement teams to carry out day-to-day business activities.

• Responsible for developing, coordinating and maintaining relationships with vendors and internal team members.
• Ensure effective planning and on-time execution of planned preventative maintenance, responsive repairs and small works by close cooperation with vendors and operations teams.
• Ensure daily operations of procurement run smoothly and efficiently by enforcing policies and procedures such as the purchase order, work completion and approval to pay processes.
• Coordinate vendor contracts and ensure that vendors receive adequate information from the BAM FM operations team. 
• Ensure that CRM is up to date with key vendor information.
• Prepare and produce reports tracking vendor spend and operational performance. 
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively & independently.
• Monitor, and understand KPI requirements across contracts and accounts.

Who are we looking for?

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Negotiating and networking experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• An understand of KPI reporting.
• Able to understand and interpret outputs of reporting (produce commentary and insight).
• Commercial awareness.
Desirable
• Experience of CAFM systems, ideally Concept.
